The 44th LD Democrats are a passionate, community-driven group working to elect Democrats and advance progressive values throughout Washington’s 44th Legislative District. Our mission is simple but powerful: to help make Washington one of the best places to live—where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive.
We believe in LGBTQ+ rights, voting rights, women's rights, soveriengty for Palestein, environmental protection, equity, freedom, and justice for all people, regardless of background or circumstance. We’re proud to stand up for climate action, civil liberties, and inclusive policies that reflect the diversity of our district.
But more than anything, we’re your neighbors. We’re parents, teachers, students, workers, and volunteers. We are the people who care deeply about our community and want to make a difference. Whether you’re new to political organizing or a seasoned advocate, there’s a place for you here.
We invite you to connect with us, attend our monthly General Meetings (held the second Thursday of each month at 7pm), and explore our many committees focused on endorsements, diversity, fundraising, and more. There are countless ways to get involved and help shape the future of our district.

Join Our Upcoming Equity in Action Learning Session on October 25th
We recently launched our DEI Quarterly Event Series, a new initiative designed to foster a more inclusive, informed, and engaged community. Each quarter, we’ll explore a unique theme through interactive experiences that educate, inspire, and connect.
Equity in Action: Tools for Exploring Identity and Bias
