Become a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO)

Considering taking the next step in membership and actively engaging your neighborhood community?

Precinct Committee Officers (PCOs) are elected every 2 years to represent their neighborhood area, called a Precinct. PCOs must be registered voters within their precinct, and publicly declare they are a Democrat on the ballot.

Missed the filing time/election? The 44th LD can appoint PCOs to serve their precinct throughout the 2-year election cycle.

PCOs are entitled to participate and vote in all matters of the 44th District Democrats and participate in the quarterly and special meetings of the Snohomish County Democrats.

Reach out today to find if your precinct is open to apply for appointment, or to get in touch with your PCO if the position is already full.

“Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in Democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in.
